look&roll.Short Film Festival 2026
Client: look&roll, Basel · Year: 2026

Brief.
As social media manager for the association look&roll, I shaped the digital communication for the 11th edition of the short film festival, which was also its 20th anniversary, from June to September 2026. The festival took place on 19 and 20 September 2026 at kHaus Basel.
Goal: increase visibility, build a new audience and offer accessible communication for a cinema without barriers.
What.
Social media and festival communication, on-site presence, follow-up after the festival.
- 19 film reels from material of all three international competitions
- Trailer and Save the Date
- Texts in DE/EN: written and optimized, captions and story formats
- Hashtag strategy developed and applied consistently
- Subtitles and translation of all reels
- Accessibility videos at kHaus, welcome messages in Swiss German Sign Language (DSGS)
- 6 thematic carousels, from which 2 more reels were produced
How.
19 film reels, multilingual texts (DE/EN), live coverage with 59 stories, interviews with filmmakers, the jury and the audience, subtitles and translation throughout.
All captions, reels and story formats were written in German and adapted into English for maximum reach beyond the German-speaking community.
Impact.
